Public Workshop for New Building Electrification Codes (Carpinteria, Goleta, County of Santa Barbara) 5:30 PM

You are invited to attend the Public Workshop for New Building Electrification Codes to discuss proposed updates to energy policy in the Cities of Goleta, Carpinteria, and County of Santa Barbara. The workshop will cover:

  • How all-electric new buildings help our cities and county achieve climate action goals.
  • Indoor air quality and comfort benefits associated with electric appliances.
  • Key features of the proposed codes.
  • Information on grid reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Permitting and exemption for new buildings and remodels.
  • Opportunities for audience feedback and Q&A.
