Clean Air Summit and Expo Invites Discussion of Transition to Zero-Emissions in Ventura County

Oxnard, Calif. – On October 12, Gold Coast Transit District will host the inaugural Ventura County Clean Air Summit and Expo, the event will invite key stakeholders and experts in clean transportation and climate action to convene and discuss pressing topics at the local, regional, and state level in transitioning to zero-emissions, and innovative efforts to address air quality while exploring other opportunities and connecting with leaders in both the public and private sector.

Clean air leaders, community stakeholders, elected officials, and bus manufacturers have all been invited to attend with the event include a Clean Air Leaders Summit as well as a Clean Air Expo.

CLEAN AIR LEADERS SUMMIT: 

There will be an educational leaders summit from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. that will include speakers from local, regional, and state agencies advancing clean air initiatives including the California Air Resources Board and U.S. Hydrogen Alliance. This will be a great opportunity to meet and network with clean air industry leaders and community stakeholders. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

CLEAN AIR EXPO

Free and open to the public, the Expo will draw those interested in sustainable clean air transportation practices and provide an opportunity to tour the newest electric & hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, electric bikes and more.  Vendors will be on site providing information and answering questions between 1:00 p.m.
