Hemp Beginnings – Green Building Speaker Series

This seminar covers the beginning stages of hemp as a plant, as a material, and it’s uses in the built environment. We will cover hemp history in society and government, and where we are today. We will then speak to all the potential hemp brings to our community and how it can be the solution to many of the world’s problems. 

 

Learning Objectives:  

  • Gain a basic understanding of the hemp plant & its uses
  • Discover the best uses for hemp in buildings 
  • Discuss political acceptance of hemp-based solutions
