About Us

Sue has worked for the County since 1997. Her role as the County’s Senior Deputy Executive Officer for Government Affairs is the development and implementation of the Board of Supervisor’s State and Federal legislative agendas and platforms, working with State and Federal legislators on all County issues. She has worked with the Sustainability Division since 2012 when she became the Executive Director of the Ventura County Regional Energy Alliance. Additionally, Sue manages the Integrated Regional Water Management Planning and Implementation efforts in Ventura County, which includes the administration of four grants totaling nearly $60 million for 26 projects across the County.
